Field Trips and Events
Besides meetings, a variety of other activities are planned throughout the year. Some field trips and events occur annually, while others happen more intermittently or as the occasion is warranted. Check the meetings page for more information.

| Fall Migration: Each fall there is usually a field trip to observe the fall migration of waterfowl and smaller birds. |

| Bluebird Birdhouse Building: Building bluebird birdhouses with elementary school students is always a fun time for everyone. |

The Christmas Bird Count: Since the Christmas Bird Count started, Saskatchewan has recorded over 170 different bird and mammal species during the count period around Christmas.

| Owl Hoot: If the frogs are not too noisy, we should be able to hear five or six different owl species. |

| Spring Flower Walks: In June, wildflower walks led by a Nature Prince Albert member are offered to the general public. Spring showers and the occasional mosquito often join the walk. |

| MacDowall Bog: A unique feature of the bog environment is the numerous species of orchids and insectivorous plants in one area of Saskatchewan. |
